Suzy Favor Hamilton, Her Story

Join International Bipolar Foundation on May 2nd, 2018 to welcome back Suzy Favor Hamilton! Suzy is a 3-time Olympian, 7-time US National Champion & Record 9- time NCAA Champion track & field athlete, and author of the NY Times Best Selling memoir, Fast Girl – A Life Spent Running From Madness. “Fast Girl” focuses on living with bipolar disorder and the often disastrous consequences of misdiagnosis. She has survived rock bottom and now seeks to educate and raise awareness of what untreated bipolar can look like. She also seeks to show that management, recovery and a quality life can be achieved with proper diagnosis, meds, therapy and support. We will be discussing her Olympic story, her struggles with bipolar disorder, and getting an in-depth look into what she is doing today!
