Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Daniel Giers, leads you on his personal journey of Bipolar Disorder and treatment and the effects on his graduate school training and his professional work with fellow sufferers. Daniel Giers is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and an MBA from Southern Illinois University. Currently, he performs private practice counseling in Champaign County and is part owner and Clinical Director of True North PTSD Center. On his off time he speaks publicly to professional psychology programs, news affiliates, and universities on stigma, treatment, and recovery of a variety of mental health and trauma-related topics.
