Anxiety Support provides effective forms of information, education and support to help people who are experiencing anxiety, whether or not they have a diagnosis. We are funded to work with people aged 18 and over living in Canterbury, New Zealand.
We have extensive experience with and information and resources on the most common types of anxiety including Generalised Anxiety Disorder; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD); Panic and Agoraphobia and Social Anxiety.
If you want to access our support and programmes we will ask you to first make a time to meet and talk with one of our Peer Support Workers. Meeting with you in this way helps us to base our explanation of our services on our understanding of your individual circumstances. You are welcome to bring your own support person to this meeting. If you are unable to come into our office we may be able to make alternative arrangements with you.
