Something I am Proud Of:
I was diagnosed recently, but I’ve felt something was wrong in me since June 2021. Finally, I dared to go to a psychiatrist in October 2021. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and of course I was shocked. My courage was to tell my family and friends that I had bipolar disorder and that wasn’t something to be afraid of. We’re all the same.
Advice for Newly Diagnosed:
You don’t have to be afraid and worry. We’re here together through it all, and we’re not walking alone. Routine medication, a healthy lifestyle, and listen to good words from people who love us, it will make us better. We are special, and together we’ll take care of each other.
