Arianna Dixon

Thank you for reading my biography and my blog. My name is Arianna Dixon. I have been diagnosed with A-typical Bipolar Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I’m a musician and writer with a wonderful, supportive family. I live with my upbeat, loving fiancé, Alissa, and our dogs, Bella, Jasmine, and Josie. As a child, I was told I was a very quiet, well-behaved girl. At age 8, I started to become what I am today: a well-educated, talented adult with goals, dreams, hopes, and a strange predicament that requires a daily, triple dose of effort. My goal in writing about my situation and expressing to the public my inner emotions and quandaries is to encourage the public to do their own research and develop a better relationship with the mental health community. I would also like to reach out to fellow mental-health patients looking for relatable stories and inspiration. I believe this diagnosis is more than just a mindset. I’m here to prove that. Enjoy!

“God has gifted me with the inability to succeed and the talent and determination to overcome that inability.”
