Managing Bipolar Disorder In Older Adults

More than half of people with bipolar disorder will be more than 60 years old by 2030. In this webinar, Dr. Soham Rej shares the current research evidence on how to manage bipolar disorder in older adults.

Soham completed his medical school (2009) and psychiatry residency at McGill (2014), followed by a geriatric psychiatry clinical and research fellowship at University of Toronto (2014-2017). Soham’s research has focused on the physical, cognitive (memory), and mental health of older adults with bipolar disorder and has been published in more than 60 peer-reviewed publications. This work has been kindly supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Fonds de Recherche en Santé Quebec, Ontario Mental Health Foundation, Kidney Foundation of Canada, and other agencies.
