In this recorded webinar featuring Professor Greg Murray, we explore the multifaceted impact of sleep problems on individuals living with bipolar disorder. The discussion begins with an examination of how poor sleep intertwines with the experience of mania and depression, and how changes in sleep can serve as a warning sign for potential relapse. We also cover the prevalence of sleep disorders within this population and the significant effect poor sleep can have on overall quality of life.
The webinar then shifts to practical strategies for improving sleep, including both self-help techniques and professional approaches. Key topics include the role of daily routines in regulating sleep patterns, effective strategies for nighttime preparation, and guidance on seeking help for specific sleep issues and disorders. Our goal is to provide valuable insights that empower viewers to enhance their sleep and overall well-being.
