Rosie Viva is a model, documentary filmmaker and activist passionate about encouraging and helping people talk about neurodiversity. In this one-on-one chat, Rosie will be sharing her inspiring lived experience with bipolar disorder and how it changed the trajectory of her life, as well as shedding light on the realities of the diagnosis and the stigma around mental health.
2023 saw Rosie become the subject of a Channel 4 digital documentary, Modelling, Mania and Me, charting her day-to-day experiences of living with bipolar which has amassed over 100,000 views since May. Channel 4 want to make Rosie the channel’s next ‘face of mental health’. An ambassador for Bipolar UK, Rosie’s writing and work has been featured in Grazia, Stylist, Women’s Health, The Telegraph, BBC, Daily Express and Dua Lipa’s Service95 newsletter, and has recently appeared on Steph’s Packed Lunch as well as on BBC Radio London and Gurl’s Talk.
