Something I am Proud Of:
I’ve spent 6 months working on a new kind of peer support experience for people with bipolar. The unique capabilities of the Clubhouse technology is what makes this possible. More information is available at linktr.ee/bipolarsupportclub.
Advice for Newly Diagnosed:
It is not the worst thing ever. Anyone can become bipolar stable or be in remission if they:
- Find a practitioner who they trust and whose treatment works for them
- Track their mood and learn/use different tools to bring yourself back into balance depending on whether you’re down or up,
- Find some people to talk to who really understand your story because they’ve been there. A lot of times well-meaning family and friends just can’t provide the same support as another bipolar person.
