I’m proud of the fact that I have shown myself that I’m strong enough to pick myself up. I’ve accepted my diagnosis, I take responsibility for my mental healthcare and I openly talk about my diagnosis and advocate for mental healthcare.
Advice For Newly Diagnosed:
Accepting your diagnosis is a process. It may feel like a relief, but it may also feel like a trauma. Give yourself grace and walk the recovery journey step by step, at the pace that you can.
