Rady Children’s Hospital will be opening a Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic (BHUC) in San Diego in the Mid-City Community, serving children, adolescents and families struggling with urgent emotional and behavioral concerns.
The clinic will provide prompt risk assessments and linkages for clients and families to the most appropriate level of care.
In addition to risk assessment and crisis intervention, follow-up sessions for case management and referral will be arranged throughout the week by appointment only. We will serve families with private insurance, Medi-Cal, and the uninsured.
Anticipated opening will be in late November 2017. The Rady Children’s BHUC walk-in Clinic will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
