Sara L.

I am married to my soulmate, mother to a child who is wise and sensitive beyond his years, and working as an attorney for now. I was diagnosed with “a bipolar spectrum disorder” after a difficult post partum year, and have since remained “not otherwise specified” in the DSM.  I also struggle with PTSD and severe anxiety. I am writing what I call a fictional memoir of my early life in between life, work and rapid cycling episodes.  I live in North Carolina, where the longer days and shorter winters help me feel happy and hopeful when I need a boost. I’ll never stop trying to be better and do better, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
