Beyond Boundaries: Empowering Mothers of Adults with Bipolar Disorder

This webinar with Dr. Judith Smith is designed to address the unique challenges mothers face when their adult children live with bipolar disorder. Leveraging insights from her research and her book, Difficult: Mothering Challenging Adult Children Through Conflict and Change, Dr. Smith addresses the difficulties that mothers experience when attempting to set boundaries with their adult son or daughter.  She guides attendees through the importance of shifting some maternal attention to enhancing self-care, seeking peer support, and learning to handle conflict.  This webinar aims to equip mothers and other care-givers with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage their roles effectively while safeguarding their own well-being.
